DeVos can say she supports LGBTQ rights, but her words mean nothing unless she takes tangible action to support LGBTQ students that produce concrete results. Also, when we use the phrase “conversion therapy” it should be placed in quotations. To do otherwise implies “conversion therapy” is a legitimate therapeutic treatment when it is not; indeed, it is therapeutic fraud.
