I wanted to go into their romance a bit more, but felt the piece was getting too long with all of the important legal information.

Did you know there is a documentary about Windsor and Spyer called Edie & Thea: A Very Long Engagement? I only recently discovered it.

Another fun fact: Robbie Kaplan forbade Windsor from talking about sex during the case because she didn’t want Antonin Scalia reading about her “butch femme escapades” with Spyer.

I will admit I wrote this with a heavy heart because the fate of the Supreme Court hangs in the balance. I can’t bear to see any more progress chipped away at, but am ready to fight if we must (and we probably will).
